Ebb\u0151l a gondolatb\u00f3l sz\u00fcletett a keskenynyomt\u00e1v\u00fa Bala tavi vas\u00fat. Az eredeti vonal norm\u00e1l nyomt\u00e1v\u00fa volt. M\u00e9gis az \u00faj turista vonalat 6o cm-es nyomt\u00e1vra \u00e9p\u00edtett\u00e9k. A vonalat 1972-ben nyitott\u00e1k meg az utasok r\u00e9sz\u00e9re, de m\u00e9g tov\u00e1bbi 4 \u00e9vet vett ig\u00e9nybe hogy befejezz\u00e9k a vonalat Penny Bond-ig.<br>1976-t\u00f3l a vas\u00fatnak 5 g\u0151z\u00f6sb\u0151l \u00e1ll\u00f3 mozdonyparkja van. A filmben a f\u0151szerepl\u0151 az 5. sz\u00e1m\u00fa Made Marian g\u0151z\u00f6s, amit 19o3-ban a Hunslet \u00e9p\u00edtett (Leeds).
