A k\u00f6vetkez\u0151 villamos\u00edtott vas\u00fatvonal Rom\u00e1ni\u00e1ban a Brass\u00f3 \u2013Predeal vonal volt, amit 1965. december 9-\u00e9n nyitottak meg, f\u00e9l \u00e9vsz\u00e1zaddal az Arad \u2013 Podgoria villamos\u00edtott vas\u00fatvonal megnyit\u00e1sa ut\u00e1n. E vas\u00fatvonal egy m\u00e1sik technikai els\u0151s\u00e9ge arra t\u00e9nyre utal, hogy a fels\u0151vezet\u00e9ket tart\u00f3 oszlopok vasbetonb\u00f3l k\u00e9sz\u00fcltek, valamint a dep\u00f3 csarnokok is Aradon, \u00e9s a fesz\u00edt\u00e9sek is Ghioroc-ban, Pancota-n \u00e9s Radna-n. Ezek voltak az els\u0151 \u00e9p\u00edtkez\u00e9sek, amik vasbeton szerkezeteket haszn\u00e1ltak Rom\u00e1nia ter\u00fclet\u00e9n.<br>Az Arad &#8211; Podgoria vas\u00fat egy r\u00e9sz\u00e9t \u00e1talak\u00edtott\u00e1k a 80-as \u00e9vekben villamos vonall\u00e1, ami \u00f6sszek\u00f6t\u00f6tte a helys\u00e9geket az Aradi sz\u0151l\u0151vid\u00e9ken, \u00e9s a vid\u00e9ki ter\u00fcleteket Arad v\u00e1ros\u00e1val. \u00cdgy 1989-ig Aradnak volt a leghosszabb villamos vonala az orsz\u00e1gban, Bukarest ut\u00e1n.
